A few things that have changed recently.

We no longer offer shaving of double coated breeds except in cases of matting, or by a vet's written recommendation.

We will no longer accept pets that repeatedly come in matted. We have resources to help you keep your pet tangle free; and we are always happy to suggest tools and techniques.
Pricing: All prices are starting prices and are based on dogs that are fully brushed out with no tangles or shedding. If your pet's service requires more brushing, trimming, or more time to reduce stress your price may vary.
*Complementary with every Dog Haircut service:
A warm water bath with a shampoo and conditioner of your choice (not including flea and tick, or Hot Spot Shampoo),
A custom dry.
Up to15 minutes of brushing.
Nail trim and grinding (if tolerated),
Toothbrushing
*Complementary upon request:
Ear cleaning / plucking,
Anal gland expression
* Choosing not to include complementary services or staff being unable to complete complementary services does not change the service price.

This is not an all-over haircut; we will neaten your dog's face, feet and sanitary. Alternatively, we will tidy up the back feathers instead of neatening the face.​

Most single length haircuts that leave the dog less than half an inch long are included in our starting pricing. Dematting, deshedding, hand scissoring, multiple length haircuts and advanced patterns are not included in starting prices and will cost more.

1. Sound Frequencies During Storms Are Painful to Dogs Ears
It’s no surprise that storms make many dogs uncomfortable (though not all dogs). The sound frequencies they pick up from the storms can be painful for them. There’s also static electricity that can be unpleasant for them as well. Happy hoodies can help muffle sound and make dogs more comfortable during stormy weather.
2. Roughly 45% of Dogs in the United States Sleep in Their Owner’s Bed
It’s something we may try to avoid, but our furry friends have a way of making it into our hearts and our beds. Forty-five percent is a pretty large number considering the number of pet dogs in the United States. So, either we truly enjoy sharing our bed with the extra body or we are just easy to guilt!
3. Dogs Aren’t Colorblind
Dogs are not colorblind like most people think. They can see blue and yellow vividly but do have trouble distinguishing between different shades of green and red, causing those colors to look more like grays and browns.
